There was a very large police presence in Walpole, Massachusetts late Tuesday night at a SWAT situation.
A command post was set up in the 900 block of Hilltop Drive.
Authorities received a tip and had surveillance to back up that a man who is a suspect in a Boston murder was in a Walpole apartment with an ex-girlfriend.
Police were able to get the ex-girlfriend out of the apartment safe.
The suspect barricaded himself inside for a few hours.
Following a standoff, the suspect was taken into custody without injuries.
Police from multiple districts and towns responded to the scene, as did State Police.
