A Massachusetts man's shooting death is under investigation.
Lawrence police said 23-year-old Victor Pena was found slumped over in a car suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest after officers responded to Broadway for reports of shots fired and found his car had hit two parked cars.
Officers began using CPR until firefighters and paramedics arrived at the scene.
Pena, a Lawrence resident, was taken to Lawrence General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators said they believe Pena and the shooting suspect or suspects knew each other.
It's unclear if there have been any arrests in the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
