Attorneys for a New Hampshire man charged with setting fires in Stratham, Raymond and Epping that killed four dogs are seeking to have evidence thrown out of court.
Gregory Bruno is facing multiple counts of animal cruelty, arson and filing false reports. The 28-year-old Raymond man was arrested last May.
The Portsmouth Herald reports that the defense says Bruno's footprints allegedly found at the scene of one of the fires should be dismissed because the search of the property was conducted without a warrant.
His attorneys also filed a motion to have some or all of his alleged offenses tried separately.
Prosecutors argued those offenses amounted to a single plan he was executing before his arrest.
A hearing on the attorneys' motions to suppress will be held July 19.
