Less Humid Air, Sunshine Returning Around New England

After storms last night and this morning, less humid air and sunshine is returning around New England.

The humidity is last to clear along the South Coast, Cape, and Islands. As a result we may still have a few showers or downpours through lunch there.

During the afternoon we’ll enjoy lots of sun at the coast with temperatures in the 70s thanks to a seabreeze. We’ll be closer to 80 inland with a slight risk of a sprinkle.

All the while Hurricane Chris is passing by offshore, sending waves and the risk of rip currents to New England. The risk is highest at the South Coast today, and east facing beaches tomorrow.

Thursday and Friday will be similar weather wise with comfortable humidity and pleasant conditions. Highs will be in the 70s and 80s. Each day may also have a sprinkle, especially over the mountains.

A cold front approaches this weekend, increasing the risk of some showers or storms on Saturday.

Next week temperatures will start the week near 90.
