Louis C.K.'s Pop-Up Show in Boston Sells Out in Minutes

The comedian is heading out on a national tour, which did not include any publicly announced Boston stops

Some lucky fans of comedian Louis C.K. are getting to see him perform tonight at Boston's Paradise Nightclub.

The stand-up comic announced a "pop up" show on Tuesday morning.

The Emmy-nominated star, who grew up in Newton, Massachusetts, is heading out on a national comedy tour.

The tour did not include any officially scheduled Boston stops. But the comedian announced Tuesday night's concer through his mailing list. Fans flooded the Paradise box office, and the show sold out within minutes.

Unfortunately, the phone number listed for the Paradise in the email was actually for a local business.

Boston.com reports that the phone at Allston Insurance Company hasn't stopped ringing all day. Its phone number is one digit off from the number for the Paradise box office.
