A man was taken to a local hospital following a shooting in Lowell, Massachusetts.
Police say a 34-year-old man was shot Thursday night in front of 25 Auburn Street.
There is no word on his condition as of midnight, but police do say he was conscious and alert when he was transported to the hospital.
There's no immediate word on a suspect.
The shooting is under investigation.
