Fallen Rain Gutter Causes Delays on MBTA's Orange Line

MBTA officials said a rain gutter that fell on an MBTA Orange Line car Saturday afternoon caused some delays.

One rider sent NBC Boston a picture of an object that had fallen on the car at Back Bay Station in Boston.

Officials said the train was stopped at the time of the incident around 1 p.m. and no injuries were reported.

Shuttles buses replaced service between the station and Jackson Square for about an hour.

Work crews removed the fallen pipe and performed a station inspection before they resumed service.
