ME State Police Investigating Death of Greenville Man

An autopsy of Woodbury's body is scheduled for Monday in Augusta

A 32-year-old Maine man was found dead near Beaver Cove Saturday night.

Maine State Police report that at approximately 7 p.m. Saturday officers responded to a 911 call regarding a physical altercation between two people at a camp located in the Beaver Cove area in Greenville, Massachusetts.

Upon the officers' arrival, they determined that an adult male needed medical attention; EMS was contacted.  When EMS arrived, the man, George Woodbury III, from Greenville, Maine, was non responsive and never regained consciousness. 

An autopsy of Woodbury's body is scheduled for Monday in Augusta.

Police say the altercation appears to have resulted from a disagreement involving rental property.

No charges have been filed and no arrests have been made.  There is no threat to the public.  Officials will not be releasing the names of anyone else involved at this point.
