An iconic Maine zoo and theme park is up for sale.
SeacoastOnline reports the owner of York's Wild Kingdom, located in York Beach, is putting the property up for sale for $14.2 million.
The park will still open as usual this year, the owner reportedly said, adding he is not in a hurry to sell it.
The property has been up for sale since late February and is nearly 60 acres. Local realtors say the site could be used for important commercial developments.
