Police: Man Found Dead After House Fire Is Homicide Victim

A man found dead after a house fire in Caribou, Maine, was the victim of a homicide, police announced Friday.

The body was found around 10 p.m. Thursday at 5 Lower Lydon St. after firefighters responded to the report of a blaze at the address.

The victim's identity has not yet been determined. State police are examining DNA evidence.

Damage from the fire was contained to the inside of the home.
