Maine State Police Dispatcher Arrested on Child Pornography Charge

A Maine State Police dispatcher has been arrested on a child pornography charge after investigators say he received sexually explicit photos from 13-year-old girls he contacted on social media.

Forty-three-year-old Eric Kramarz of Auburn has been charged with possession of sexually explicit material. It's unclear when he'll be arraigned or if he has an attorney.

State police said Kramarz was arrested at his apartment on Wednesday after their computer crimes unit got a tip he had been in contact with girls as young as 13 on Twitter and had received sexually explicit photos from some of them.

Kramarz's cell phone has been seized and is being analyzed, state police said, while detectives found nothing inappropriate on computers he had access to at the state police dispatch center in Gray.

A 16-year veteran at the dispatch center, Kramarz is on administrative leave with pay.
