Voters in Yarmouth, Maine will decide whether or not to impose stricter restrictions on sex offenders in their state.

The measure would prevent sex offenders convicted of crimes against children younger than 14-years-old from moving within 750 feet of a school, according to WCSH6.

Sex offenders who have lived in the area before the ordinance would be exempt.

There are currently three registered sex offenders in Yarmouth.
