Man Accused of Exposing Himself to 2 Kids at Mass. Savers Store

According to court documents, Abidan Rivera is facing two counts of open and gross lewdness

Police in Saugus, Massachusetts, arrested a man accused of exposing himself to two young children at a Savers store Friday.

According to court documents, Abidan Rivera is facing two counts of open and gross lewdness.

Police responded to the Savers Department Store at 1160 Broadway around 4 p.m. for a report of a male who exposed himself.

The caller told police her two girls, ages 7 and 11, said the man crouched down to look at a pair of shoes, exposing himself to him. The kids left to get their mother and Rivera allegedly repeatedly approached them, pulling down his shorts and exposing himself multiple times.

He also allegedly exposed himself in front of the caller when she was with her kids.

Police met with the caller, who pointed them in the direction of Rivera, who was standing in the parking lot.

He told police that he is a “naturalist” and doesn’t wear underwear. He added that he was looking at some shoes and had to readjust his shorts. He told police he believes his genitals may have become exposed to the two kids.

He added that he was in the area because he works for Uber.

Rivera was arrested and personal recognizance bail was set at $40, which was posted.

He was ordered in court to stay away from the kids and the Savers store. He has also been banned from using the Uber app.

His next court appearance is December 27.
