Man Accused of Making Bomb Threat at Manchester, NH High School

Police in New Hampshire have accused an 18-year-old man of making a bomb threat through social media at a Manchester high school.

Police said they arrested Benjamin Dumont at his Manchester home on a criminal threatening charge at about 1:45 a.m. Wednesday. He was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 13. It wasn't immediately known if he had a lawyer and a phone number couldn't be found for him.

Police said a school resource officer alerted investigators to the threat at West High School around 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Several bomb detection dogs cleared the school to ensure it was safe.
