Man Accused of Robbing Store, Assaulting Employee

Dominick Montalvo, 21, of Nashua, was arrested following the Nov. 13 robbery

Police in Nashua, New Hampshire, say they have arrested a man accused of robbing a Macy's store last month and punching an employee while fleeing.

Dominick Montalvo, 21, of Nashua, was arrested following the Nov. 13 robbery where police say the Macy's at 310 Daniel Webster Highway was robbed by two people.

When they attempted to leave the store, a loss prevention employee attempted to stop them, as which point he was punched in the face, pushed and kicked.

Police say surveillance video led to an arrest warrant for Montalvo, who was found hiding in a closet. He refused to surrender, police say, leading to a charge of resisting arrest.

Montalvo is being charged with robbery and resisting arrest.

He is being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections and is due in court Thursday.
