Vermont State Police responded to a theft complaint at the Addison Four Corners Store in Middlebury on Sept. 3.
Upon arrival, police were advised the incident was caught on store video surveillance. A man stole a Humane Society donation safe box with an estimated $90 inside.
After further investigation, police identified the subject committing the theft as Terence J. Morris. On Sept. 7, Morris was issued a citation to appear in court to answer to a charge of petit larceny.
