Man Arrested for Armed Robbery at Sally Beauty Supply in New Hampshire

The incident took place on Nov. 3 at the South Broadway store in Salem

A Massachusetts man faces charges after an armed robbery at Sally Beauty Supply in Salem, New Hampshire.

Police responded to a call from an employee on Nov. 3 at 7:45 p.m.

The worker at the South Broadway store stated that a man wearing dark clothing pulled out a knife and demanded money. The employee comlied with the demand and handed over an undetermined amount of cash. The man fled on foot.

Officers were able to stop the suspect. They located a plastic bag with the money in addition to a 12-inch kitchen knife.

Douglas Banks, 44, of Lawrence was taken into custody without incident and charged with one count of robbery.

Banks will be arraigned in the 10th Circuit Court District Division/Salem.
