Man Arrested for Home Invasion That Injured Resident in Ipswich

Police say Nathan Kilgour allegedly struck the homeowner with a club before fleeing the scene

A Massachusetts man is facing charges after an alleged home invasion in Ipswich where a homeowner was seriously injured.

Police said officers arrived to the home on Blaisdell Terrace at about 3 p.m. Monday after receiving a report that a man had broken in while armed with a club.

The man allegedly struck the homeowner with the club before fleeing the scene.

The homeowner suffered serious, but non life-threatening injuries, and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

After receiving a description of the suspect and the vehicle he got away in, police were able to locate him.

The man was identified as Nathan Kilgour, 32, of Ipswich.

Kilgour was taken into custody and charged with home invasion. He is being held on $7,500 cash bail pending his arraignment.
