Man Arrested for Larceny Linked to Multiple Thefts Across Massachusetts

A man arrested for larceny has been linked to multiple thefts throughout eastern Massachusetts.

Steven Stanley, 44, of Weymouth has been charged with larceny from a building and larceny over $250.

On Jan. 8, an associate from Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates in Concord notified police that several pairs of high-end eyeglass frames were stolen from the business.

Surveillance footage was analyzed to identify a suspect on Jan. 9. Police were later able to determine the man in the video to be Stanley.

At the same time, Acton Police broadcasted a radio message to area police departments informing them that two suspects entered an optometry practice in town and began acting suspiciously, leading employees to believe they were attempting to steal eyeglass frames.

Police determined that one of the suspects, Stanley, was the man involved in the eyeglass frame larceny from Concord.

Stanley was also found to have nine open warrants for his arrest on similar charges. He was also listed on the Boston Police Department's most wanted list.

Stanley will be arraigned at Concord District Court.
