A man was arrested on Monday in connection with the March 1 murders of a West Brookfield, Massachusetts, woman and her three children, according to the Worcester County District Attorney.
Matthew Locke, 31, of Ware, was arraigned on a charge of misleading a police investigation and held on $10,000 bail.
The murder victims found in an upstairs bedroom at 10 Old Warren Rd. were identified as 38-year-old Sara Bermudez, 8-year-old Madison Bermudez, 6-year-old James Bermudez and 2-year-old Michael Bermudez.
The deaths of the family members remain under investigation.
Police placed a "distraught family member" who went to the scene on March 1 in protective custody, but released the unidentified relative, according to the district attorney.
