Man Calls 911 From Police Cruiser to Complain About Officer
La policía persiguió este lunes a una camioneta robada desde Northridge al área de Reseda, donde dos sospechosos salieron y corrieron por un vecindario antes de ser arrestados.

Rhode Island police say a man called 911 from the back of a cruiser to complain about an officer who volunteered to give him a ride.

The Westerly Sun reports officers were called to a home in Westerly Tuesday and found the 28-year-old man arguing with his girlfriend.

Westerly Police Chief Richard Silva says the man seemed intoxicated, so officers told him to find a ride home. When he couldn't, Silva says officers offered the man a ride to the police station where someone could pick him up.

Silva says the man used his cellphone to call 911 once inside the cruiser.

[NATL] Clerk Pulls Out Machete on Would-Be Robber

A would-be robber armed with a knife had a surprise in store when an Alabama store clerk pulled out a machete in defense. The two's brief knife fight was caught on camera before the clerk runs out to damage the robber's car.

According to police, suspect Seth Holcomb walked up to the counter to make a purchase. He leaves the store and then comes back in as if to make a second purchase. Then, he pulled out a knife at the counter. What he didn't expect was that the clerk would pull out a machete of his own.
