Police arrested a man for drunk driving following a single-vehicle crash in Laconia, New Hampshire, Sunday morning.
Around 1:11 a.m., the Laconia Police Department responded to the report of a crash at 149 Harglen Lane.
Investigation revealed that the motorist, Matthew Loughlin, missed a turn, causing him to hit railroad tracks and roll down a steep embankment. The vehicle came to a rest just before Lake Winnipesaukee.
Loughlin was arrested for driving under the influence. He was released on personal recognizance bail and will appear in Laconia District Court on Nov. 12.
