A Massachusetts man was arrested in New Hampshire Monday, and charged with two counts of felonious sexual assault, and one count of sexual assault.
Michael Markauskas, 41, of Metheun was taken into custody by members of the Nashua Police Department's Patrol Division.
On Sept. 30, 2014, authorities were informed of a possible sexual assault that had previously occurred. The complaint alleged that Markauskas had sexually assaulted a juvenile female that was known to him over a period of time in Nashua, as well as Hudson.
The subsequent investigation revealed that Markauskas was the person responsible for the sexual assault.
Markauskas is being held on $10,000 cash or surety at the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections pending his arraignment.
