A Vermont man has been arrested for firing a rifle at his neighbor's home early Sunday morning.
Twenty-eight-year-old Matthew Zwinge of Shaftsbury is charged with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and "noise in the night" after police say he shot the home of 67-year-old Darleen White.
White told police that she heard gunfire between 1:35 and 3:30 a.m. When she woke up, White said, she discovered that six bullets hit her living room.
According to police, the shooting caused extensive damage in White's home.
Zwinge was released and is due in court at an unspecified date.
