Man Charged in Crime Spree Including Rape, Carjacking, Held on $250K

Antonio Damon pleaded not guilty Monday in Worcester Superior Court to nearly two dozen charges

A Worcester, Massachusetts, man police say went on an hour-long rampage in August that included a rape and an armed robbery has been held on $250,000 cash bail.

The Telegram & Gazette reported that Antonio Damon pleaded not guilty Monday in Worcester Superior Court to nearly two dozen charges including aggravated rape, aggravated kidnapping, carjacking, and assault with a dangerous weapon.

The 35-year-old Damon was arrested Aug. 9 after a woman called police to say a man with a knife had entered her business and raped her. Over the next hour, police received reports of a carjacking, a sexual assault, a hit-and-run accident, and an armed robbery allegedly committed by Damon.

Damon's attorney previously told a judge that his client denies the charges.
