Police: Man Charged in Fatal Crash Also Sold Drugs

He's expected to be arraigned on the additional charges on Thursday

A man accused of causing a crash that killed twin elderly sisters in Barre in February is facing additional charges.

Vermont State Police said Tuesday that 32-year-old Shaun Duprey, of Barre, has been cited for the sale of heroin and crack cocaine and violating his conditions of release.

Duprey is being held at the St. Johnsbury Correctional Center for lack of bail. It was not immediately known if he's being represented by an attorney.

Duprey has pleaded not guilty to two felony counts of gross negligent operation with death resulting in a crash that killed Teresa White and Verna Cote, identical twin sisters who were 80.

He's expected to be arraigned on the additional charges on Thursday.
