Man Held Without Bail in 2 Separate Dorchester Murders

A Massachusetts man charged in connection with two separate homicides in Boston last month was held without bail after his arraignment Wednesday in Dorchester Municipal Court.

Lance Holloman, 30, of Dorchester, did not show his face while being arraigned on two counts of murder.

Police arrested Holloman Sept. 15 on charges of murder and armed assault after being accused of shooting a father and son as they rode their motorcycles on Interstate 93 southbound near the Neponset Avenue exit in Dorchester.

Thirty-two-year-old Scott M. Stevens Jr., of Taunton, died from his injuries. His 54-year-old father survived the Sept. 10 shooting.

Hours after the I-93 shooting, police found Michaela Gingras, 24, of Manchester, New Hampshire, shot to death inside a home on Santuit Street in Dorchester.

Following an investigation, Holloman was also charged with Gingras' murder.

His next court date is Nov. 15.
