Police have arrested a 56-year-old man for fatally shooting a 23-year-old woman on the streets of Swansea, Massachusetts, early Sunday morning.
Timothy Levesque is charged with murder in the death of Melissa White.
Swansea Police found White shot in the chest near 356 Ocean Grove Avenue. She was transported to Rhode Island Hospital and pronounced dead.
The Bristol County District Attorney's Office would not release any additional details before Levesque's arraignment, scheduled for Monday morning in Fall River District Court.
