A 23-year-old Connecticut man could see decades in prison after a jury convicted him of murder, robbery and conspiracy.
The Hartford Courant reports a Superior Court jury returned its verdict Tuesday afternoon against Tyquan Turner. He has been in jail since 2013.
Turner was acquitted in the killing of 25-year-old Miguel Rodriguez in July 2013, but the felony murder conviction carries the same penalty.
Twenty-three-year-old Lorenza Christian is also charged in Rodriguez's killing. He's awaiting trial.
After Rodriguez was shot, his attackers took a custom-made gold chain and medallion from his neck which featured the Disney character Scrooge McDuck.
Turner's sentencing is scheduled for July 21.
