A 29-year-old Uxbridge, Massachusetts, man is dead and a 23-year-old woman from Glocester, Rhode Island, is in serious condition after their car drove off the road in Rhode Island early Saturday morning.
WJAR reports police responded at about 1:45 a.m. to two people trapped in a car that had driven over the embankment on Reynolds Road in Glocester, Rhode Island.
The man, who was driving, was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman, who was in the passenger seat, was airlifted to Rhode Island Hospital.
Police said speed may have been a contributing factor in the crash.
