Officials say one person is in custody after a man was fatally shot in front of a bar in Randolph, Massachusetts, early Wednesday morning.
According to the Norfolk District Attorney's office, Gregory Wright, age 36, of Randolph was arrested.
Wright plead not guilty to the murder of Drake Scott, age 23, of Dedham at his arraignment in Quincy District Court this morning.
Wright was also charged with assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, possession with intent to distribute a class B substance, and carrying a firearm unlawfully.
Wright was ordered held without bail by Judge Mark Coven and will return to court on March 16, 2016 for a probable cause hearing.
Police responded to a report of a shooting before 1 a.m near the City Limits Saloon and found Scott dead outside the bar.
The Norfolk DA's Office said in a statement there is no danger to the public.
