Man Found in Maine Home, Death Ruled Suspicious

A Maine man was found in his home Friday afternoon, and authorities say his death is suspicious.

Andrew Sherman, 48, of Richmond, was found at his home at 7 Kimball Street by a friend who hadn't seen or heard from him in a few days, Steve McCausland, spokesman of the Maine Department of Public Safety, said Sunday.

Sherman lived alone in the house and hadn't been working for the past few years because of injuries he sustained in a car crash, McCausland said.

An autopsy was scheduled for Saturday, but no details have been released.
