A 55-year-old Vermont man is going to prison for more than four years after pleading guilty to a federal conspiracy charge that he intended to distribute cocaine.
Federal prosecutors say Albert Johnson was sentenced Friday by Vermont's Chief United States District Court Judge Christina Reiss to 50 months in prison.
Johnson pleaded guilty in November to a charge of conspiracy to distribute heroin and cocaine base. He has been in custody since his arrest.
Johnson's attorney didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
