A Norway, Maine, man who stole a family' pet dog during a burglary at a Hebron home has pleaded guilty.
The Sun Journal reports that Timothy Scott Robbins will be sentenced at a future date after pleading guilty last week in Oxford County Superior Court to charges of felony burglary and theft in connection with the burglary last March. Under a deal with prosecutors, he faces no more than a year behind bars.
Authorities say the 28-year-old Robbins and 42-year-old Diane Downs broke into the home and stole two laptops, two iPads, three digital cameras, an Xbox video game console with 35 to 40 games, jewelry, and the occupant's 2-year-old golden retriever.
The dog was returned unharmed.
Downs was sentenced in August to just over a month in jail.
