    Man Pulled From Water at South Boston Beach Pronounced Dead

    A man has died after going underwater at a South Boston beach.

    A 52-year-old man was unresponsive when he was pulled from the water at Carson Beach around 2:40 p.m. Friday, according to Massachusetts State Police.

    The man was taken to Boston Medical Center in distress. Police said he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

    State police are investigating the man's death.

    Police released footage of a mother who said she accidentally left her 5-month-old in a car for half an hour in a Goodyear, Arizona, parking lot when she, her sister and other daughter went into the store. Officers are heard on camera saying it was about 99 degrees outside.
