A Massachusetts man who robbed three doughnut shops on consecutive days in 2017 has been sentenced to up to 13 years in prison.
The Bristol district attorney's office announced Wednesday that 34-year-old Paul Curtis was sentenced last week after pleading guilty to armed robbery and assault by means of a dangerous weapon for robberies in Berkley and Seekonk.
The Sun Chronicle reports the Braintree man robbed a Dunkin' Donuts in Middleborough, a Dunkin' Donuts in Berkley, and a Honey Dew Donuts in Seekonk in September 2017.
He had previously pleaded guilty to robbing the Middleborough shop.
Michelle Shaugnessy, the getaway driver, pleaded guilty in March and was sentenced to up to three years.
