Police in Haverhill, Massachusetts, say a man was rescued from his vehicle after it went down an embankment and crashed into a ravine.
Police responded to the area of 33 Clydesdale Avenue around 9:09 Friday morning.
They found the car flipped over in the ravine. Water was coming into the car as well.
Officials were able to extricate the driver, a 35-year-old male, who was transported to Merrimack Valley Hospital. He remains conscious and alert.
Officials say road conditions appear to have played a role.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
