Man Sentenced for Condo Complex Shootings

John Goduti was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty

A Plymouth, Massachusetts, man authorities say terrorized a condominium complex by firing rifle shots at the buildings has been sentenced to up to three years in prison.

The Patriot Ledger reports that John Goduti was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty to assault with intent to murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, malicious destruction of property, possession of a loaded shotgun and carrying a dangerous weapon.

The 56-year-old Goduti also got five years' probation.

Police say in the summer and fall of 2014 Goduti fired a high-powered black powder rifle at the Plymouth Colony Condominiums from his van while driving along nearby Route 3.

No one was hurt, but residents noticed holes in the walls and windows of units facing the highway, and some found small bullet fragments on their floors.
