A man was shot inside a Quincy, Massachusetts residence early Saturday morning, according to local police.
Officials responded to the scene on Crown Drive around 4:30 a.m. and discovered a man had been shot in the chest. The victim, 23, was transported to Boston Medical Center in critical condition but is expected to survive, police say.
Two people were arrested on charges of possession with intent to distribute class D marijuana in connection with the shooting, according to police.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
