A man was shot and killed Thursday in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Police responded to a shooting around noon on Longhill Street. A man was found suffering from a gunshot.
The victim, identified as 28-year-old Jonathan Rodriguez of Springfield, was taken to Baystate Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The Springfield Police Department's homicide unit is investigating alongside the Hampden County District Attorney's Office.
