Man Struck and Killed by Truck

Police say a 60-year-old man was hit Thursday night in Worcester, Massachusetts, and pronounced dead at a hospital.

A 60-year-old man died after being hit by a truck Thursday night in Worcester, Massachusetts, police confirm.

The victim, Bryan Beardsley of Worcester, was struck at the intersection of Grafton and Wall Streets around 8 p.m. Police said he suffered from extensive trauma.

The man was taken to the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.

Police say the truck left the scene, but after reviewing security video, they identified the suspect vehicle. The driver agreed to talk to investigators and is being cooperative.

The crash remains under investigation. No charges have been filed.

Names of the driver and the victim are not being released at this time.
