Police say a man who was struck by two different vehicles on the Maine Turnpike has died.
Authorities say a passenger vehicle and then a tractor trailer struck Tyler Seaver, 27, of Biddeford, around 3 a.m. Saturday in the northbound lanes of the turnpike in Saco.
Authorities are trying to determine why Seaver was walking along the road.
The driver of the car has been identified as 47-year-old James Yionen. The truck was operated by 49-year-old Christoph Phillips. Both drivers were not injured in the crash.
Following the fatal incident, northbound lanes were shut down for four hours before reopening at 7:51 a.m.
