Man Tried to Convince Teen to Have Sex with Him for Money

Dustin J. Postma is charged with one count of prostitution

A New Hampshire man is facing a prostitution charge for allegedly trying to convince a teen to have sex with him for money.

Dustin J. Postma, 37, of Hinsdale, New Hampshire, is charged with one count of prostitution.

According to Keene Police, they were contacted by an 18-year-old woman who reported that she had applied for a job at a local car dealership, and shortly thereafter was contacted online by a man from the dealership who referenced the fact that she was seeking employment and needed money. The man then contacted her numerous other times online and via text message, asking her to engage in acts of prostitution for money.

Arrangements were made by police, acting as the 18-year-old, to meet the suspect to engage in the illegal activities. The subject, later identified as Postma, arrived and was taken into custody without incident.

Postma is free on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Keene District Court on Dec. 4.
