Some Needham residents are on alert today after Needham police say a man yelled at a teen girl multiple times to get into his SUV.
The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. Saturday. A 16-year-old girl told police she was walking near an intersection when a man passed her three times in a white Land Rover Discovery and then yelled at her multiple times to get in his vehicle.
She described the man as being in his 20s or 30s, muscular, and having a tattoo on one of his upper arms.
One family that lives nearby is keeping their eyes peeled.
"I don't like it at all," said resident Richie McMahon. "This has always been a safe neighborhood, and a big reason why people move to Needham."
