Authorities are looking for a Massachusetts man suspected of stabbing a 76-year-old woman who lived in his building.
Quincy College professor Vibeke Rasmussen was stabbed more than 30 times in her Plymouth apartment. Police searched her unit on Tideview Path around 1 p.m. Friday after she did not show up at work.
Neighbors told police they had heard a woman screaming around 11 p.m. Thursday.
State investigators are searching for 24-year-old Tyler Hagmaier, who lives across the hall.
Around 10 p.m. Friday, Hagmaier's Toyota Prius was found beside the French King Bridge in Gill - more than 130 miles from the Plymouth apartment building, but near the suspect's hometown of Montague.

Neighbors reported hearing a splash in the Connecticut River, so authorities are investigating whether Hagmaier may have jumped.
The river was searched, but police did not find a body. Crews will continue to search the river Sunday.
"This was a vicious attack," said Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz.
According to Cruz, Hagmaier has mental health issues. He is considered to be "very dangerous."
