Merlin Ronan Ordonez was wanted in Fairfax County, Virginia, for the aggravated sexual battery of a five-year-old girl. He was arrested Wednesday in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The 52-year-old native of Honduras has been on a warrant from October 2014. He fled Virginia right after the warrant was issued and re-located to Marlborough, MA. The US Marshals Fugitive Task Force narrowly missed arresting Ordonez in Marlborough, where he had been living since.
Ordonez was charged by Cambridge Police as a fugitive from justice to be removed to Virginia. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained Ordonez when they later determined he was illegally in the United States.
