Man at Store Bound, Struck, in Robbery

Police say a man robbed at a business in Essex, Vermont, was bound and struck, and suffered head injuries.

The robbery happened at the New World Coin and Jewelry store on Center Road between 6:10 p.m. and just before 7 p.m. Monday.

Police say the victim was treated and released from the hospital for multiple blows the head from a blunt instrument and other injuries.

The suspects are described as two men in the mid-20s, one with a crew cut. The other suspect was wearing a black hooded sweat shirt and a mask. Police say a grey sedan vehicle possibly with a ski rack, may have been involved.
