Several magazines and two firearms were recovered from a driver accused of brandishing a gun at another motorist in an alleged road rage confrontation.

A man was arrested on Friday after he allegedly brandished a gun at another driver during a road rage confrontation in New Hampshire.

Alan Cournoyer, 39, of Wolcott, Vermont was arrested of several firearm charges after a driver reported that he was threatened by the suspect.

New Hampshire State Police received a call at about 12:30 p.m. of a man driving a Toyota Tundra erratically in New Hampshire. The caller reported that the man brandished a gun and was now traveling on Route 93 southbound in Massachusetts.

A state trooper located the suspect vehicle traveling on the highway in Wilmington and stopped the driver in Reading. Upon investigation, authorities found a fully loaded .45 caliber handgun, a Lewis Machine tool AR-15 and several magazines.

The driver, who was identified as 39-year-old Alan Cournoyer of Wolcott, Vermont, was not licensed to carry those firearms in Massachusetts, according to officials.
