    Police-Involved Shooting in Manchester

    Police in Manchester, New Hampshire, say a suspect was injured in an officer-involved shooting, but not by a gunshot.

    Police in Manchester, New Hampshire, confirm an officer-involved shooting took place Thursday night.

    The shooting occurred around 9:20 p.m. at the intersection of Flaherty Lane and Hecker Street.

    No one was seriously hurt, according to police. The suspect was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. But Manchester Police say he was not hit by a bullet, more likely being injured by broken glass or shrapnel.

    The area around the shooting scene was closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic while authorities investigated.
