Manchester police are looking for the suspect of an attempted armed robbery.
According to police, they received a call just after 6:30 p.m. Saturday from Z&M Market located at 266 Bridge Street in Manchester, New Hampshire.
The caller told police that a suspect had attempted to rob the store and pulled out a knife. The suspect had since fled on foot.
When police arrived, the store clerk said that a thin white male around 5'5" entered the market, showed a knife and told the clerk to open the cash register. When the clerk refused, the suspect tried unsuccessfully to open the cash register.
The clerk then picked up a stool and the suspect fled without getting anything.
The suspect was dressed in a black hoodie with red lettering, black pants, a black bandana covering his face, a black and white hat and red gloves, police said.
A K9 track was conducted with negative results.
